Job summary

LEIGHTON CONTRACTORS (ASIA) LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) is seeking an experienced professional for Operational Planning and Onsite Works execution. The role focuses on understanding drawings, drafting method statements, planning equipment/materials, and obtaining client approvals to prevent delays.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, ensuring quality against drawings and ITPs, performing safety and risk assessments, and controlling costs while maintaining HSE standards across

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
• Total work experience of 5-10 years.
• Exposure across diverse construction sections.
• Understanding of safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Understand drawings and job specifications and draft method statements for supervisor approval.
• Plan and order equipment and materials needed for tasks; seek client approvals to minimise delays.
• Prepare ITP, JHA and risk assessment reports in consultation with supervisor.
• Monitor progress against milestones; adjust resources to ensure on-time completion.
• Check workmanship against drawings and ITP; perform quality tests as required.
• Provide inputs to minimise wastage and optimise material and labour costs; allocate costs correctly.
• Adhere to HSE requirements; communicate standards to team and monitor compliance; report non-compliance.
