Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. is recruiting for an engineer to manage UHP gas and utility connections for semiconductor fabrication plants and cleanrooms in Singapore.

You will supervise installation activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure interfaces between equipment and tooling are properly implemented. The role requires hands-on experience with UHP systems, piping, and AutoCAD drawings, along with review of P&IDs and isometric layouts.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing, cleanroom facilities, UHP utility systems, or similar projects will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Ultra-High Purity (UHP) gas, bulk chemical, Process Cooling Water (PCW), exhaust and scrubber, and DI water utility connections for semiconductor fabrication plants and cleanroom environments.
• Supervise and monitor daily installation activities, from base-build connection points through to equipment and tool interfaces.
• Manage subcontractors and site manpower to ensure installation activities are completed according to project schedules.
• Supervise UHP orbital welding works and the installation of mechanical utility systems.
• Conduct and coordinate quality control testing, including helium leak tests, particle counting, pressure testing, and analytical verification.
• Prepare, maintain, and update IFC and As-Built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Review and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, tool layouts, and related engineering documentation.
• Prepare technical proposals, tender estimates, costing, and commercial submissions.
• Ensure project activities comply with WSH requirements, Risk Assessment procedures, bizSAFE STAR requirements, and applicable ISO standards.
• Liaise and coordinate with clients, equipment/tool vendors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
