Job summary

TYT Builders Pte Ltd is seeking a project professional to lead road construction projects in Singapore. You will develop detailed plans, coordinate with clients and contractors, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

You will review designs, conduct site inspections, and deliver regular reports to stakeholders. Ideal candidates hold a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by Singapore authorities and possess strong communication skills to liaise with

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies and project management techniques.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets to guide road construction projects
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to define and achieve project objectives
• Monitor project progress and performance, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Review and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory standards, codes, and safety guidelines relevant to road infrastructure
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to verify adherence to project requirements and standards
• Facilitate clear communication and problem-solving among team members to promote a collaborative work environment
• Prepare and deliver progress reports, technical documentation, and project updates to stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, expenditures, and resource usage for transparency and accountability
• Communicate project status, milestones, and issues promptly to clients and stakeholders
• Address client concerns and inquiries professionally to maintain high levels of client satisfaction

Education

Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineer Board, Singapore, or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control
