Job Description

  • Position Title: Project Engineer (Agriculture)
  • Working Location: Central
  • Working Hours: 5.5 days / Mon to Alternate Sat: 9am-6pm
  • Salary Package: Up to SGD 8500 + AWS
  • Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate engineering deliverables across multiple agricultural projects, ensuring adherence to established timelines, budgets, and quality expectations
  • Serve as a key liaison among field engineers, agronomists, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to enable efficient project execution
  • Support the planning, scheduling, and oversight of maintenance, installation, and operational activities related to agricultural equipment and infrastructure
  • Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations for management and stakeholder review
  • Ensure project sites comply with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
  • Assist with procurement activities and manage inventory of engineering tools, machinery, and spare parts
  • Provide on-site technical assistance and troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.
  • Arrange travel plans and coordinate logistical support for engineering teams visiting project locations
  • Analyze project performance data and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and outcomes
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to support safe and effective engineering operations
  • Contribute to budgeting efforts, monitor project costs, and support resource allocation processes
  • Maintain detailed records of project milestones, equipment servicing, and technical documentation
  • Deliver training and offer technical guidance to field personnel and junior engineers
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to adopt and implement innovative agricultural technologies.
  • Promote clear, consistent communication between the head office, field teams, and external partners
  • Support sustainability goals by contributing to environmentally responsible engineering practices
Qualifications
  • Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Min. 2 years of experience in agricultural engineering, field operations, or project coordination roles
  • Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of modern agricultural equipment and technologies is a plus
  • Commitment to sustainability and environmentally responsible engineering practices
  • Able to undertake overseas travel to project locations as required
