Job summary

GD PRECISION PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor engineering projects, ensuring codes and QA/QC standards are met.

You will interact daily with clients to interpret their needs, review deliverables, and represent the project in the field while maintaining budget and schedule. You will mentor the project team and collaborate with vendors and R&D to resolve technical issues, reporting progress regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Work together with vendors and R&D to resolve technical issues
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Other ad-hoc tasks and/or other re-assignment of jobs by superior / management from time to time.
