Job summary

PLANODRIVES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Project Planning Engineer responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring engineering projects from the initial planning stage through execution, testing, completion and handover.

You will ensure deliverables meet technical, budgetary, scheduling, quality and safety requirements, coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients, review drawings and manage project documentation to support timely handover.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, drawings and client expectations to establish the scope of work.
• Prepare project schedules, work plans, material requirements, manpower estimates and equipment allocation plans.
• Coordinate engineering installation, maintenance and project execution activities with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and work methods and coordinate clarification of technical discrepancies.
• Monitor project progress, costs, resource utilization and delivery timelines, and recommend corrective measures when necessary.
• Prepare and review technical submissions, quotations, material lists, method statements, inspection records and project reports as required.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of project materials and equipment to support timely execution.
• Monitor project quality, testing, commissioning, rectification and handover activities.
• Conduct project risk assessments and coordinate environmental protection and WSH compliance activities.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement suitable process improvements and technology solutions.
• Communicate project updates, technical issues, risks, variations and corrective actions to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure project documentation is properly maintained and that completed work meets contractual requirements and applicable standards.
