Job summary

MEIBAN MICRO PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a project Lead to oversee assigned projects from customers, rallying Mold Shop, Manufacturing, QA and Materials to meet timelines and quality. You will communicate with customers, manage cost analysis, and ensure complete documentation.

You will ensure smooth handover to Production, train teams, and ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, plus customer-specific standards, while supporting management initiatives to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional teams across manufacturing, QA and sourcing.
• Strong project management and scheduling capabilities.
• Knowledge of cost analysis and budget management.
• Familiarity with DFM and mold flow analysis.
• Experience with mold testing and part measurement.
• Proficient in documenting project files and archives.
• Ability to train and transfer knowledge to production teams.
• Understanding ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Experience with supplier programs and customer standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project activities across Mold Shop, Manufacturing, QA, and Materials.
• Manage budgets, tooling, and materials for projects.
• Ensure material availability for testing and startup.
• Perform mold tests and meet product specs.
• Document project files and drawings for traceability.
• Handover projects to Production with training and lessons learned.

Job description

a) Lead and oversee assigned Projects of existing or new customers:

Lead and rally relevant resources from Mold Shop, Manufacturing, QA, Materials to manage Project activities and timeline to ensure customers' expectations and requirements are met. Communicate effectively with customers and provide all necessary services to ensure customer satisfaction during project phase. Carried out product costing and analysis.

Ensure the following Project tasks are carried out effectively :

• Perform Team feasibility, DFM (design for manufacturing), mold flow analysis etc.
• Manage project expenses like tooling, materials, other project expenses etc to meet budget.
• Ensure material availability for testing and initial production start up.
• Perform mold test, part measurements to meet product specifications.
• Perform proper documentation of Project File that includes Product drawings, Tool DFM, Mold tests, window studies, Molding parameters, project schedule, etc.

b) Ensure smooth and proper handover of Projects to Production. Conduct training to relevant parties to ensure knowledge and lesson learnt are documented and know how are transferred in a sustainable manner.

c) Familiarize with ISO 13485 / 9001 standards and any special customer standards eg Certified Supplier Program and ensure necessary documentations and practices comply with these standards.

d) Participate actively in Management initiatives to resolve critical issues, improve overall operational performances / productivities etc.
