The role involves planning, liaising with consultants and clients, and ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. Responsibilities

• Study tender / construction drawings to understand project requirements.
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation.
• Develop Civil Structure Design and SEM design.
• Liaise with consultants on design analysis and approvals.
• Coordinate with client and authorities on work progress.
• Lead a team of supervisors for works coordination.
• Conduct site inspections for civil work and compliance.
• Supervise sub-contractor's activities and resource planning.
• Prepare various progress and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.
• Adhere to safety regulations aiming for zero accidents.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation, according to the Project Management Plan and master construction program.
• Civil Structure Design (CSD) / Structural, Electrical and Mechanical (SEM) design development.
• Liaising with consultants on design analysis, design work and design check for approval.
• Liaising with client, QP(D) and QP(S) on design submission and work progress supervision.
• Liaise with consultants for work inspections and to resolve technical issues on site.
• Lead a team of supervisors / foremen for works coordination with main/subcontractor and/or authorities and/or consultant on project progress and technical issues.
• Site inspection for civil work, which includes excavation, structural, casting and ensure that the work is executed as per the project specification and construction drawing/final approved drawing from authorities.
• Supervise sub‑contractor's activities & accomplishments, planning and deployment of resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment and material.
• Preparation of various programs such as 4‑Weeks Rolling Program, Baseline Program, preparation of progress report, Method Statements and technical submissions.
• Ensure the project complies with regulations and clients’ specifications.
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accidents in the workplace.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping is maintained to the highest standard.
• To perform Ad-Hoc duties as per assigned.
