Job summary

PAN SING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Site Engineer to assist the Project Manager on aluminium and glazing construction activities, ensuring progress and quality targets are met on site.

You will coordinate with the Main Contractor and subcontractors, uphold safety and QA/QC standards, prepare installation sequences, and maintain records of inspections and material deliveries during project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in aluminium and glazing design/site engineering works.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing daily construction activities on site to ensure project progress and quality targets are met.
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Ensure all works comply with QA/QC requirements.
• Provide clear instructions to subcontractors to ensure installation works are carried out according to approved construction drawings.
• Manage construction challenges, safety risks, and technical issues on site.
• Prepare installation sequences and micro-schedules for façade elements based on construction drawings.
• Coordinate with the Main Contractor and subcontractors on site installation and quality matters.
• Monitor and update daily site/project progress reports.
• Maintain proper records of site inspection reports, material deliveries, and site activities.
• Arrange and coordinate site testing and inspections with vendors and RTO/RE.
• Plan and manage site materials and equipment delivery to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Assist the Project Manager in the timely submission of material samples and mock-ups for approval.

Requirements

• Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents preferred
