Job summary

You will collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel, review drawings, manage schedules, monitor costs, and ensure quality across metal roofing projects in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience with METAL ROOFING projects is preferred.
• Ability to read roofing drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of roofing works, site coordination, and project management practices.
• Familiarity with scheduling, progress reporting, and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily construction activities at project sites to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to maintain schedules and quality.
• Review drawings, specifications, and method statements to verify accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel for project execution.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, safety standards, including Singapore's WSH requirements.
• Prepare project schedules, progress reports, site records, and technical documentation.
• Identify site issues promptly and coordinate timely solutions to prevent delays.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and material usage to control budget.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce quality control measures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily construction activities at project sites to ensure smooth operations and timely completion
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to maintain project schedules and quality
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and method statements to verify accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to facilitate project execution
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements, including Singapore's construction regulations and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards
• Prepare detailed project schedules, progress reports, site records, and technical documentation to track and communicate project status
• Identify site issues promptly and coordinate timely solutions to prevent project delays
• Monitor project costs, variations, and material usage to control budget and resource allocation
• Conduct site inspections and enforce quality control measures to maintain construction standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience in METAL ROOFING works projects
• Ability to read and interpret roofing drawings and technical specifications
• Knowledge of roofing works, site coordination, and project management practices
• Familiarity with project scheduling, progress reporting, and quality control procedures
• Proficient communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities concurrently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
• Experience in the Singapore construction industry is an advantage
