Job summary

Innergy Consulting Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Project Engineer to lead power genset projects from planning through handover. You will manage schedules, coordinate with customers, distributors, and internal teams, and ensure milestones are met with diligent documentation.

The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree and 2–3 years of relevant project management experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Singapore-based onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (2–3 years professional experience preferred).
  • Strong project management experience (at least 2 years) required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage projects to meet milestones.
  • Develop and maintain master project schedules and track progress against timelines.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to support project execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional responsibilities and follow up on deliverables.
  • Plan and lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) with customers and distributors.
  • Review, align, and finalize all required project documentation before delivery.
  • Coordinate on-site testing and ensure a smooth handover to the aftermarket team.
  • Provide first-line technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support feasibility assessments and prepare cost estimates for PM activities.
  • Prepare monthly project status reports, highlighting risks, issues, and actions.
  • Provide engineering input for third-party submittals and drawings.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen project execution processes.
  • Coordinate with interplant teams on deliveries, FATs, and documentation.
  • Work with scheduling, customer service, and production teams for weekly updates.
  • Attend site meetings with contractors and consultants as required.
  • Oversee site installation activities to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors on installation activities, material approvals, and drawing submissions.

Job description

We are looking for an experience Project Engineer for our client, an established international company in the power genset sector. The ideal person should be detail-oriented and a good team player.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage projects to ensure key milestones are achieved on schedule.
  • Develop and maintain master project schedules, tracking progress against agreed timelines and milestones.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to support the effective execution of project activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional responsibilities and follow up on deliverables to keep projects on track.

Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with two to three years of relevant professional experience.
  • At least two years of project management experience.
