Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate local order fulfillment and repair activities with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. You will help ensure best-cost sourcing and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, obtaining drawings approvals, guiding on specification deviations, and leading cross-functional planning meetings to meet customer requirements and company targets.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Understanding of API610 and engineering documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communications.
• Able to interact with all levels globally.
• Collaborative team player and self-starter.
• Knowledge of SAP, Lean Manufacturing and CI processes.

Responsibilities

• Project management and execution of customer orders and engagements.
• Review technical docs and coordinate with Engineering for drawings approvals.
• Support production with guidance on deviations and waivers.
• Lead production planning meetings across departments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery per terms.
• Other duties as assigned.

Project Engineer

Your Role and Impact

As a Project Engineer, you will work with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to coordinate and execute local order fulfillment and/or repair activities. Additional responsibilities include ensuring best cost sourcing and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for project management & execution of customer orders, including customer engagement / meeting when required.
• Review technical documentation package and coordinate with Engineering team and obtain drawing approvals from the customer
• Support production by providing tactical advice and guidance on specification deviations and waivers, and other activities where required
• Conduct production planning meeting to communicate the product requirement, specifications, timeline etc. to all applicable departments including Engineering, product management, production, quality, procurement etc.
• Collaborate with the internal departments to ensure that the product is delivered to the customer on time as per the agreed terms & conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Understanding of industrial standards (e.g. API610, etc.), engineering documentation, drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Effective verbal and written communications
• Able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of employees, customers, and business groups globally
• Collaborative team player and self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision
• Knowledge of SAP, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes are a plus
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience
