Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Project Engineer/Project Engineer to manage engineering projects and troubleshoot automation systems. Qualifications

ASSISTANT PROJECT ENGINEER / PROJECT ENGINEER
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics) or equivalent.
  • FRESH GRADS ARE ENCOURAGE
  • Experience in the design, programming, and commissioning of PLC software (Siemens S7) is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of electrical drawings with good troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of VFDs, servos, and system interfaces.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Electrical) and/or E-Plan software is an advantage.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all relevant activities of assigned projects from design to handover.
  • Troubleshoot complex PLC-controlled automation systems when required.
  • Assist in on-site testing and commissioning of MHS equipment.
  • Prepare design specifications and technical drawings for projects.
  • Schedule and monitor project activities to ensure on-time delivery, including coordination and follow-up with external suppliers.
  • Participate in client/contractor meetings and support the project manager in resolving project-related issues.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors.
