Job summary

BDC Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on M&E Engineer to supervise and coordinate mechanical and electrical works on site.

You will monitor sub-contractors, liaise with authorities, and ensure conformity with shop drawings, method statements, and project requirements. The role requires up to date knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM/Revit, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Preferably 3 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/BIM/Revit would be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and target-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with project teams and managers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• To monitor and supervise sub-contractors work progression according to shop drawings, method statements, materials, and samples.
• To liaise and work with relevant authorities, sub-contractors, or clients on shop drawings, materials, and samples.
• Carry out work scheduling, material requisition, cost control, and project supervision to ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.
• Document and manage the technical datasheets, specifications, and all piping-related documents.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth progress of works.
• Identify challenges, mitigate risks, and ensure that safety regulations are being compiled on-site.
• Prepare inspection reports for material & site installation inspection.
• Attend site coordination meetings when necessary.
