Job summary

MECHTRANS ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. invites a Senior Project Engineer to lead on-site activities at Tuas. You will manage supervisor teams, liaise with clients and sub-contractors, and track progress against milestones.

You should hold a degree/diploma in Electrical/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering, have 5+ years' experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Class 3 driving license and willingness to work six days at Tuas are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage teams of supervisors and coordinators for daily activities.
• Liaise with client, internal staff and subcontractors on daily activities.
• Monitor progress of work activities on site.
• Prepare monthly lateral logging updates and claims documents for QS submissions.
• Report site issues to Project Manager and suggest mitigations.
• Coordinate stakeholders including customers, consultants, sub-contractors, vendors on site to meet project requirements.
• Understand engineering drawings and perform basic engineering calculations.
• Coordinate the safety management system on site.
• Supervise project deliverables and on-site coordination.
• Follow up and report on project progress.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting manager.
• Preferably hold Class 3 driving license; willing to work at Tuas, 6 days a week.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage few teams of supervisor and coordinators for daily work activities.

• Able to understand Engineering drawings and perform basic engineering calculations, design, etc.
• Coordinate the safety management system on site
• Supervise project deliverables regarding site co-ordination
• Follow up and reporting on the project progress
• All other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting manager
• preferably with class 3 driving license
• Willing to work at Tuas, 6 days work

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferably trained in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Multi-tasking team player with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
