Job summary

MICRO TECH CNC ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer/Site Engineer to lead maintenance and project work from our Tuas main office. Strong drawing-reading and English communication are essential.

Requirements include a degree/diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or M&E coordination, at least 3 years’ experience in Singapore construction, and proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, and PDFs. 5.5-day week; salary SGD 4,000–6,500 monthly; 9am–6pm or 9am–1pm shift.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination.
• Minimum 3 years of Project Engineer/Site Engineer experience in Singapore construction.
• Able to read drawings; proficient in English; good interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office, AutoCAD and PDF editing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electricians/workers to carry out maintenance and project work.
• Attend client meetings and plan manpower and materials.
• Study drawings and explain plans to supervisors.
• Conduct routine checks and arrange corrective actions where needed.
• Report project status to Project Manager and prepare submissions.
• Coordinate site works with main contractor and ensure safety.
• Schedule and sign workers' timecards.

Requirment:

• Working days & time: 5.5days 9am – 6pm / 9am -1pm,
• Location: Main Office at Tuas
• Salary: $4000 - $6500
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering & or Specialist Diploma in M&E Coordination.
• Minimum 3 years of working experiences as Project Engineer/Site Engineer in construction industry of Singapore.
• Basic computer skills to edit Microsoft , AutoCad, PDF & Etc.
• Able to read drawings, write and speak in English.
• Process good interpersonal & communication skill with a positive attitude.
• An independent, also be able to work in Team, can cope in a fast-paced environment. Highly motivated and a good team player.

Duties and responsibilities:

1.Duty

To conduct tools box briefing, planning and lead a team of electrician/worker to execute maintenance and/or project work

• Attend meeting with client
• Plan for manpower and materials for project works
• Study drawings and explain to supervisors.
• Conduct routine check and arrange for corrective work where necessary
• Report to Project Manager on project status and any problems encounter
• Prepare sample submission, shop drawings, as built drawing and O&M submission
• Sign workers timecard

• Plan works for workers
• Ensure workers are doing work correctly and safely
• Check site status and report to Project Manager
