Job summary

Nippon Builders Pte. Ltd. is seeking a senior project leader with a Civil/Structural background to oversee large-scale construction projects in Singapore.

You will apply technical expertise to develop safe execution methods, track budgets, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. You will lead project teams, coordinate with clients and agencies, and deliver milestones on time while meeting quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and submission processes.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise to develop and implement safe execution methodologies during tender processes.
• Ensure tenders meet overhead and budgetary targets and comply with contractual requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and value chain partners to align project objectives.
• Manage commercial aspects to achieve financial targets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and oversee project teams to deliver milestones on time within allocated resources and contractual terms.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to drive project development from start to completion.
• Develop detailed project implementation programmes and strategic plans for execution.
• Prepare project briefs, requirements, and technical specifications for procurement of consultancy and construction contracts.
• Identify and resolve project interface issues by working with all interfacing parties to implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and meet specified quality standards.
• Independently lead project teams and manage team dynamics by assigning appropriate tasks to members.
