Job summary

CS Bored Pile System in Singapore is seeking a geotechnical engineer to assist the Project Manager with planning, design and day-to-day operations of geotechnical projects. You will prepare design calculations and technical drawings, and help manage project schedules.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering or Geology degree and at least 2 years of construction experience; entry-level applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering/Geology or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years relevant construction experience.
• Entry level candidates will also be considered.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in the planning, design and day to day running of geotechnical engineering projects
• Preparation of design calculations and technical drawings for the projects
• Determine operation requirements and to assist Project Manager in preparing schedule
• Liaise with sub-contractor and consultants for the execution of works
• Ensure timely delivery of projects in accordance to schedule
• Updating of project records for reporting purposes and submission of reports
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical/operational issues independently
• Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by Project Manager relating to project execution
• Check, site evaluation of soil, record all soil investigation data and geological studies on various work sites.
• Conduct interpretation of soil conditions and test results and all excavation works.
