Our esteemed client in the Construction & Building Materials industry is seeking a Project Coordinator/ Supervisor to join their dynamic team:

- Position: Project Coordinator/ Supervisor
- Location: Islandwide (Office in Bishan)
- Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8am onwards (with flexible daily hours. Must be available to address urgent site needs when required.)
- Salary Package: Up to $5,000 + Transport Allowance + Performance Bonus
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day work carried out by subcontractors on-site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and participate in site meetings and progress reviews.
- Review and interpret architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to support construction activities.
- Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and comparing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Review technical specifications and participate in the selection of vendors and subcontractors.
- Track construction progress to ensure works are completed according to schedule.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
- Manage and process progress claims submitted by subcontractors and vendors.
- Handle VOs (variation orders), including assessment, documentation, and certification.
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Project Manager throughout the project.
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety regulations and site housekeeping standards.
- Perform other project-related administrative or coordination tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- At least a Diploma in Engineering or related field, with minimum 2 years of working experience in project management, preferably in construction or field operations.
- Experience in sourcing, quotation evaluation, contract management, and claims processing would be a plus.
- Prior exposure to landed residential construction is preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings (architectural, structural, M&E) and familiar with project workflows and execution methodologies
- Possess a valid Class 3 driver’s license (or own vehicle) to travel between worksites (optional but preferred)
- Comfortable working outdoors and across multiple sites.
- Hands-on approach covering full project coordination, commercial management and site execution.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willing to manage urgent on-site tasks during non-standard hours if required.
