Job summary

DECORMARK DESIGN PTE. LTD. seeks a Safety Officer to join the project team in Singapore. You will review risk assessments, administer OHSAS 18001/SS506, and file documentation to protect workers from hazards.

You will inspect workplaces, conduct incident investigations, and implement preventive measures. You will coordinate site activities, plan daily schedules, and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure compliance and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Advance Certificate in WSH (Level B) is required.
• Experience in Healthcare Construction industry preferred.
• BizSafe Level 2 certification advantageous.
• Safe Management Officer certificate is required.
• First Aid and MWAH certifications advantageous.
• Higher secondary/Pre-U/College or equivalent minimum education.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Senior Executive in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be part of project team, working closely with site.
• Review risk assessments and administer OHSAS 18001/SS506 documentation and filing.
• Recommend measures to protect employees from hazardous methods, processes or materials.
• Inspect or evaluate workplace environments and practices for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
• Prepare documentation for each project (e.g., RA, scheduling, SWP).
• Manage all safety-related aspects across projects.
• Ensure ongoing projects meet requirements per client, officers and meetings.
• Plan and arrange workers' daily schedules for projects.
• Coordinate site activities with project site in charge.
• Provide periodic project updates and worker reviews withManagement.
• Collect information/data regarding design.
• Liaise with consultants and vendors on regulations and changes.
• Survey site conditions, installation cost and method requirements.
• Quality control to ensure finished products meet job order.
• Support production, procurement and logistics teams.
• Liaise with sub-contractors for project costing and client information.
• Perform other ad-hoc activities as assigned.

• Conduct incident investigations and introduce effective preventive measures.
• Documentation preparation for each project (E.g. Ra, Project scheduling and SWP).
• Manage all safety-related aspects.
• Ensure all on-going projects adhere to requirements, including but not limited to inspection with Clients, Safety Officers and periodic meetings.
• Plan and arrange workers' daily schedules for projects.
• Site coordination with project site in charge.
• Periodic project updates and worker review with Management.
• Collect information and other data regarding the design.
• Liaise with consultants and vendor on compliance with regulations, practices and changes
• Survey site condition, cost and method requirement of installation, delivery, and set-up if necessary.
• Conduct quality control to ensure finished products are constructed according to job order
• Give support to production, procurement and logistics team members.
• Liaise with sub-contractor for project costing
• Liaise with client for project information
• Other ad-hoc activities assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements

• Possess Advance Certificate in WSH (Level B).
• Experience in the Healthcare Construction industry is preferred.
• Possess Risk Management Course (BizSafe Level 2) Certification would be advantageous.
• Possess Safe Management Officer Certificate.
• Candidates with First Aid Course Certification will be advantageous.
• Candidates with MWAH Course Certification will be advantageous.
• Candidate must possess at least Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College in Others or equivalent.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
