Job summary

BEUMER Group Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Project Controller to oversee the financial aspects of projects, ensuring budgets are met and regulatory compliance is maintained.

You will work with project managers to set up progress reports, monitor costs, and prepare regular finance reviews, while consolidating cost data and ensuring timely invoicing and cash flow tracking across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting/Finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience from a project-based environment; finance experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and written/oral communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications to create reports and present information in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to travel to project sites if needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand contract structure, including key commercial points from main contracts/sub contracts and bidding documents.
• Set up project progress reports and follow up updates on a monthly basis.
• Review procurement plan to monitor material cost on a monthly basis.
• Consolidate resource plan of project from each department and update on a monthly basis to monitor internal labor cost.
• Verify risk calculation in the project risk register.
• Calculate project cash flow and invoice status on a monthly basis.
• Conduct regular review of project detail plan to monitor status of material and labor cost.
• Set up the regular finance review meetings with project managers, sub‑project managers, scheduler and contract manager.
• Facilitate budget review and forecast review meetings with the project steering committee.
