Job summary

L.S. CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage BOQ take-offs, assess VO work, and support measurement and pricing for contract claims. You will handle monthly progress claims and final accounts in line with SOPs.

The role requires a Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field and at least 2 years of local construction experience; you will coordinate with consultants, main contractors and suppliers and maintain project documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building/Construction/Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in local construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Take-off and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Assess and identify Variation Order (VO) work for all subcontract packages.
• Provide support for measurement and pricing on contract's VO claim.
• Process monthly progress claim and final claim according to SOP requirements.
• Attend all relevant contracts administration & documentation for the project.
• Take off measurement - remeasurement for sub-contract's payment and final account purposes.
• Work out cost estimation or budgetary cost.
• Liaise with Consultants / Main Contractors on VO and progress claims.
• Liaise with Suppliers for quotations.
• Maintain relevant documentation in orderly and proper manner.
