Job summary

TECHART SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a procurement coordinator to assist the project team. You will prepare purchase orders and quotes, request material samples from vendors, and negotiate costs to achieve project savings.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, communicates well in English and Chinese, and thrives in a fast-paced setting with strict deadlines. Local and overseas travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in construction field / main contractor environment is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
• Good negotiation skill.
• Positive attitude and willing to learn, and able to prioritize tasks independently.
• Meticulous and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel when required (locally and overseas).
• Ideally available to start work on short notice.
• Required language(s): English and Chinese to speak to mandarin-speaking clients.
