Job summary

ASE Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a software engineer to design, implement, and maintain in‑house applications using Java/J2EE or .NET C#. The candidate will contribute to the full software lifecycle, from design to deployment.

The role involves scripting in Perl/Python or Shell to support customer requests, reports and data files. You will analyze machine data such as STDF and GPIB messages, perform testing with internal MES via web services, and help maintain existing manufacturing

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or Equivalent.
• Experience with Perl, Python, Java J2EE, or .NET C#.
• Strong background in OOP, UML, XML and Web Services.
• Good knowledge in Linux.
• Visual Basic is advantageous.
• Experience in system integration for Tester Advantest V93K & Teradyne UFLEX is advantageous.
• Preferably with semiconductor environment experience.
