Job summary

ASE Global Singapore is seeking a capable software engineer to design, implement, and maintain in-house applications using Java or .NET, and to develop Perl/Python/Shell scripts for customer requests, reports, and data files. You will analyze machine data such as Semiconductor STDF and GPIB messages, and collaborate on user acceptance with our MES via web services.

You will support ongoing manufacturing software and contribute to system integration efforts, leveraging Linux and related tools.

Qualifications

Degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or Equivalent.
Experience with Perl, Python, Java J2EE, or .NET C#.
Strong background in OOP, UML, XML and Web Services.
Good knowledge in Linux and Visual Basic will be advantageous.
Experience in system integration for Tester Advantest V93K & Teradyne UFLEX will be advantageous.
Preferably with relevant working experience in semiconductor environment.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain in-house applications using Java or .NET.
Develop Perl/Python/Shell scripts to support customer request/reports/data files.
Analyze and decode machine data such as Semiconductor STDF and GPIB messages.
Perform user acceptance and integration test with internal MES via webservice.
Assist in maintaining existing Manufacturing applications.
