Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore West is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to support care delivery. You will assist with admissions, discharges and transfers in the EMR, and coordinate transport and appointments with clinicians and external vendors.

The role requires comfortable patient conversations, discussing bills and subsidies, and meticulous documentation in the EMR, with a 5-day workweek and shifts that may extend to 10pm.

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma in health services or any relevant field.
• Comfortable calling and talking to patients.

Responsibilities

• Involve in the planning, assessment, and monitoring of our program to ensure patients receive best possible care.
• Coordinate with external vendors to arrange transport and courier deliveries.
• Coordinate with cross hospital to manage bed requests.
• Coordinate with multi departments across to schedule appointments & other services as requested by clinicians.
• Perform patient admissions, discharges and transfers on EMR system.
• Conduct financial counselling to patient/NOK on estimated bills, subsidies, payment schemes and payment options.
• Assist patient to complete various payment forms and ensure proper documentation and follow up for inflight case until discharge.
• Export reports from EMR and import data timely to support clinical team.

Job Scope:

• Involve in the planning, assessment, and monitoring of our program to ensure that we are providing the best possible care to our patients;
• Coordinate with external vendors to arrange for transport and courier deliveries;
• Coordinate with cross hospital to manage bed requests;
• Coordinate with multi departments across to schedule appointments & other services as requested by the clinicians;
• Perform patient admissions, discharges and transfers on Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system;
• Conduct financial counselling to patient/NOK on the estimated bills, available subsidies, various payment schemes and mode of payment.
• Assist patient to complete various modes of payment forms. Ensure proper documentation and follow up for all inflight case until patient discharge.
• Export reports from electronic medical records system and import data into relevant channels timely to facilitate information retrieval for the clinical team.
