Job summary

WONGPARTNERSHIP LLP in Singapore is seeking a Knowledge Management specialist to join the KM team and help implement and execute firm-wide KM initiatives.

The role focuses on aligning KM activities with practice group goals, monitoring regulatory developments, and delivering clear legal updates for internal and client-facing audiences from base in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in legal practice.
• KM experience in a large law firm is welcome but not required.
• Strong analytical, drafting, research and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; collaborative approach.

Job description

The successful candidate will work with the KM team inthe implementation and execution ofthe firm’s KM activities.

Responsibilities

• Work with the KM team to implement and execute both client-facing and internal KM initiatives and activities.
• Work with practice groups to ensure strategic alignment of business goals and KM strategy.
• Monitor and communicate key legal and regulatory developments, including preparation of internal and external legal updates.
• This role is based in Singapore.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in legal practice.
• KM experience in a large law firm environment will be welcomed (but not a pre-requisite), and experience in an international law firm will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and technical legal skills with the ability to gain the confidence of partners and senior lawyers, be able to draw on practical experience to deliver commercially aware and practical solutions.
• Excellent drafting, research, writing, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and accurately convey complex legal concepts to both legal and non-legal audiences.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for innovation, legal technology, and developing new ways of supporting client-facing lawyers in the firm.
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities, and to deliver high-quality work to deadline.
• A collaborative and collegiate approach with the ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including partners,associates, business services teams, and external contacts.
