Job summary

ORION SYSTEMS INTEGRATION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Production Technician to contribute to the assembly, troubleshooting, and support of automation systems. The role requires hands-on work with mechanical and electrical components in a fast-paced environment.

You will support the design team, ensure safety and quality, and travel to customer sites as needed. Strong reading of drawings and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly.
• Educational background in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (ITC/Diploma).
• Willingness to work weekends and standby when requested.
• Ability to travel overseas at short notice.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and a team player.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ensure all tasks are completed within quality guidelines and deadlines.
• Provide constructive feedback to design team that are related to design error during assembly
• Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by your immediate superior.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly.
• Educational background in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (ITC/Diploma).
