Job summary

BD Singapore Tuas is seeking manufacturing operators to support daily operations, maintenance and trouble-shooting. Permanent day or permanent night shifts are available, with island-wide transport, shift allowances, OT, AWS, VB, meals and more.

You will operate machine/process units, perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, record parameters, inspect parts, and support changes to ensure EHS, quality, cost and schedule compliance.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or equivalent; must have legal right to work in Singapore.
• Able to work in a manufacturing cleanroom or non-cleanroom environment.
• Willing to work permanent Day OR Night shift.
• Able to stand for long hours.
• Able to perform loading and unloading of 10–20kg materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate on machine/process units as assigned.
• Troubleshoot machine/equipment failures to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (Cleaning, Service, Replace).
• Record machine or process parameters and take corrective actions to keep processes under control.
• Perform sampling inspection of parts per the Quality plan and handle disposition of non-conforming products.
• Support Team Leader to execute changes and projects within production area; ensure EHS, quality, cost, schedule compliance.
• Maintain accurate MES satellite data: shift output, waste, downtime, component lot numbers.
• Manage material handling activities including packing, unpacking, loading and unloading.
• Conduct visual inspections as per scope.

Job Description

Supporting daily manufacturing operations, maintenance & troubleshooting. Can choose either permanent day or permanent night shift, island-wide transport, shift allowances, OT, AWS, VB, meals and more!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Operate on machine/process units as assigned.


• Perform troubleshooting for machine/equipment failures to meet production targets and quality standards and/or specifications.


• Perform Preventive Maintenance (Cleaning, Service, Replace)


• While operating on the machine to perform tasks, always check and record the machine or process parameters and take containment and corrective actions if necessary, to ensure that the machine or process is under control.


• Sampling inspection of parts as per the Quality plan to ensure that the products are within specifications. If out of specification, handle the disposition of non-conforming products as and when required by the Quality plan.


• Support Team Leader to execute changes and projects within the production area and ensure compliance with EHS requirements, quality, cost, and schedule.


• Accuracy in the update of machine MES satellite e.g. corrects component lot numbers, accurate shift output, waste, and downtime.


• Manage Material handling activities which include packing/unpacking, and loading/unloading.


• Perform the visual inspection using the scope.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Candidate must possess at least Secondary School/\"O\" Level/ SPM/ NITEC/ Diploma in any field.


• Candidates must have the legal right to work in Singapore.


• Able to work in a manufacturing cleanroom or non-cleanroom environment.
