Job summary

KX Technologies Pte Ltd, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a seasoned Manufacturing Supervisor to coordinate production activities across departments, ensuring quality, cost control, safety and customer satisfaction. You will lead technicians and operators, drive Lean initiatives, and develop SOPs while collaborating with US-based teams.

5+ years in manufacturing, English and Mandarin fluency required. This is a permanent day supervisory role with five working days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing management concepts and quality systems.
• Background in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
• Experience writing SOPs for factories and production performance reports.
• Knowledge of safety requirements.
• Good leadership and people management skills.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Coordinates the operations of all production departments in the unit. Ensures that production meets the goals of product quality, cost effectiveness, safe conditions, and customer satisfaction. Reports issues regarding production, quality, maintenance, or personnel problems.

• Responsible for strategizing, planning, and execution of daily manufacturing activities to meet production goals.
• Lead a team of technicians and production operators to meet daily production output, quality performance, productivity and cost.
• Resolve and handle line related issues and understand equipment capacities or constraint to identify, handle and resolve bottleneck situations.
• Possess the ability to anticipate potential issues, elevate them appropriately, and implement solutions before they arise.
• Drive continuous improvement programs for operational excellence.
• Coordinate and provide support for new product introduction activities
• Collaborate with management, internal stakeholders and contract manufacturers regarding project status, progress and issue resolution.
• Take full ownership and accountability for assigned tasks, ensuring complete end-to-end execution and closure.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and site safety through hazard identification and prevention.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• At least 5 years’relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge in manufacturing management principles and concepts, as well as quality systems.
• Demonstrated background in Lean Manufacturing and driving continuous improvement projects.
• Experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures for the factories and various production performance reports.
• Knowledge of safety requirements.
• Good leadership and people management skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with US based teams, or stakeholders will be an added advantage
• This position is permanent day supervisory role with 5 working days per week
• Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin.
