Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing / Materials Planner to generate a production schedule that meets output with available capacity and release job cards per MRP.

You will manage shortages, collaborate with the Production Leader & Materials Team, and ensure plan adherence while maintaining on-time starts and finishes. This role requires strong MS Excel skills and the ability to work under pressure with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Motivated and enthusiastic with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience in fast-paced production environments; knowledge of MRP systems is beneficial.
• Good problem solving and ability to work under pressure.
• Able to influence within a matrix organization.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong oral and written communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong problem solving skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Generate daily and weekly production schedule.
• Manage shortages to maximize clear to build and on time starts/finishes.
• Release job cards in line with MRP and action exception messages.
• Collaborate with ops team to provide output commits.
• Define daily/weekly production goals to track adherence to the plan.
• Collaborate with ops team to ensure resources are allocated and aligned to achieve the plan.
• Be a flexible team player capable of meeting tight schedules.
• Monitor the integrity of job card data to ensure MRP signals are correct.
