Job summary

QORVO INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Production Planner to manage customer demand and maintain the production plan in SAP, driving materials to meet schedules and revenue targets.

You will commit deliveries to sales orders, identify risks and opportunities, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet the revenue plan and customer commitments. The role requires 3+ years in production planning and fluency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production planning experience.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Chinese to work with Mandarin-speaking subcontracts and factories in Asia.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer demand and maintain production plan in SAP system.
• Drive materials to meet commitment to customer schedule and revenue target.
• Commit delivery to sales orders.
• Identify risks and opportunities to meet revenue plan and work with cross-functional teams to mitigate risk to commitments.
• Monitor demand/supply changes and advise Business Unit on changes to meet demand.
• Collaborate with Global Planning to prioritize during tight capacity to meet customer requirements.
• Update SAP planning parameters (lead time, build strategies, planning time fence) regularly.
• Support dynamic demand changes and resolve supply bottlenecks with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure KPIs like On Time Delivery and inventory turns are met.
• Coordinate with Global Planning for NPI to mass production ramp timelines.
• Provide close loop commit updates to Inside Sales during supply crises.

Responsbilities / Accountabilities:

• Manage customer demand and maintain production plan in SAP system


• Drive materials to meet commitment to customer schedule and Revenue target


• Commit delivery to sales orders


• Proactive in identifying risk & Opportunities to meet revenue plan, customer delivery commit etc…. and work with cross functional team to mitigate risk to commitment


• Monitor customer demand / Supply change and work with Business Unit team to provide recommendation to meet changes in business demand


• Engage Business Unit & Global Planning team for prioritization during tight capacity situation to meet customers requirement


• Ensure SAP planning parameter (Lead time / Build strategies / planning time Fence etc ) are regularly updated


• Support dynamic change in demand & manage supply bottleneck with cross functional team (Work center planning/ Sourcing / engineering etc… )


• Ensure KPI (On Time Delivery , Commit response time , Inventory turns ) are met


• Closed collaboration with Global planning team in the phasing of NPI to mass production transition timeline to ensure smooth production ramps & mitigate risk to new business win


• Provide close loop commit tracker update to Inside Sales team & Business Unit throughout supply crisis period

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Supply Chain or related field with 3 or more years of production planning experience


• Excellent communication skills and proficient in both English and Chinese to work with subcons and factories in different parts of Asia who are Mandarin speaking


• Excellent interpersonal skills adopting customer centric mindset


• Proficient in SAP and Excel


• Strong problem solving and decision making skills


• Independent team player and is able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
