Job description

Planner (WIP/MRP/ECO)

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily production planning activities and monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) to ensure production schedules are met and stakeholders are updated accordingly.
• Review material shortages and collaborate with buyers to expedite material deliveries, minimizing production disruptions and supporting customer demand.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery performance.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues related to material availability, production capacity, and order commitments through effective cross-functional coordination.
• Manage and monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities to ensure planning accuracy and data integrity.
• Balance supply and demand requirements to develop and maintain achievable production schedules.
• Review and process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), evaluating their impact on materials, inventory, and production plans.
• Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and implement necessary schedule adjustments to support operational requirements.
• Generate and analyze production and planning reports, highlighting key issues, risks, and bottlenecks.
• Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to support decision-making and drive continuous process improvements.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma qualification with at least 4 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Planning, Materials Planning, Production Planning, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with MRP systems, Oracle ERP, and Agile PLM is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting, planning, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of VBA and Power BI will be an added advantage.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
