Job summary

ALWAYSHIRED PTE. LTD. is seeking a Production Planner to assist in planning and scheduling based on customer demand, capacity, and available resources.

You will coordinate with project leaders, supervisors and departments to align priorities and requirements. The role involves monitoring material availability, maintaining BOMs, supporting order confirmations, and preparing regular production and material reports for management decision-making.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or manufacturing preferred.
• No experience can be considered as training provided.
• Good coordination and communication with multiple departments.
• Detail-oriented and organized in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Assist in production planning and scheduling based on customer demand, production capacity and available resources.
• Support Planners in coordinating production orders and ensuring timely delivery according to schedule.
• Coordinate with Project Leaders, Production Supervisors and relevant departments on production priorities and requirements.
• Assist in monitoring material availability and following up on material requisitions to support smooth production.
• Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM), production records and relevant planning information when required.
• Support order confirmation by checking material availability and production capacity.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers on material delivery schedules to ensure sufficient materials are available for production.
• Monitor material availability and highlight potential shortages or delays that may affect production continuity.
• Assist in preparing regular reports and tracking production, material and order status.
• Follow up on production orders to ensure timely completion and closure for invoicing.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and data analysis to support management and cross-functional teams in decision-making.
• Perform other planning and coordination duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Manufacturing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in production planning, material planning, supply chain or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• No experience can consider as training provided.
• Good coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work with different departments.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proactive with good problem-solving and follow-up skills.
