Job summary

DURKEE ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a reliable Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team. You will operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture fabric air ducts according to drawings and instructions.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to perform repetitive manual work, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Basic salary starts from SGD 2,000–2,200 with overtime, with gross monthly earnings up to SGD 2,500–2,700.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial sewing machines is preferred.
• Experience in sewing industrial textile or fabric products will be an advantage.
• Good sewing skills with attention to detail and product quality.
• Able to perform repetitive manual work.
• Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Training will be provided to candidates without relevant experience who demonstrate a positive learning attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture fabric air ducts according to production drawings and work instructions.
• Perform sewing, assembly and minor alterations when required.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and technical specifications.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and complete assigned production targets on time.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.
