Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Singapore is seeking a Production Operator on a 12-month contract to perform varied SMT assembly tasks under the supervision of a Production supervisor in Singapore’s West region.

Based in West Singapore with accessible MRT options, you will execute wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing per process sheets while ensuring tolerances and quality checks are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education is required.
• 1 year of operator experience in SMT environment preferred.
• Able to work on shift basis with a 12-hour day shift, 4 days on 3 days off rotation.

• Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determines and follows methods and sequence of operations in wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing.
• Makes setups and adjustments to hold tolerances to blueprint specifications.

You will be reporting to a Production supervisor. You will be based in Singapore, Corporation place.

Production Operator (12 months contract)

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks.
• Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances.

Qualifications

• Minimum Secondary education
• Able to work on shift basis or normal shift
• 1 year of operator experience in SMT environment preferred
• Able to work Shift-basis (Day shift 12 hours, rotation 4 days work 3 days rest arrangement)
• 12 months contract (renewable or possible conversion to permanent employee)
• Location: West. Transport pick up available Jurong East/Lakeside MRT stations
