Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Singapore is seeking a technically skilled engineer on a one-year contract, with potential for conversion to full-time. You will support autonomous maintenance, test equipment, and line upgrades in Final Assembly, including night shifts as needed.

You should have a Diploma/ITE in engineering and knowledge of PLC programming, C++, and C#.NET. This role emphasizes troubleshooting, process improvements, and documentation. Training and career growth are available.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma/Diploma/ITE in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficient in equipment installation and machine troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of C++, C#.NET and PLC programming will be an added advantage.
• Candidates without work experience are welcome to apply.
• Able to support night shift when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily autonomous maintenance for Automated Glue and Thermal Paste Machine.
• Perform daily self-tests on Automate tester (ATE).
• Help troubleshoot line issues related to fixtures, testers, equipment, and Automation Line.
• Help perform monthly maintenance on Automation Line.
• Support line changeovers to switch fixtures between different products.
• Provide support for corrective and preventive maintenance activities, including root cause analysis.
• Participate in ECN meetings and updates on FA processes and layout drawings.

Job Description

You will be reporting to a Manufacturing Lead. You will be based in Singapore, Corporation place.

This is a one-year contract role with possibilities of conversion to full-time permanent role.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily autonomous maintenance for:
• Automated Glue and Thermal Paste Machine
• Perform daily self-tests on Automate tester (ATE):
• You will Help troubleshoot line issues related to fixtures, testers, equipment, and Automation Line.
• Help perform monthly maintenance on Automation Line.
• You will Help with line change over to switch fixtures between different products.
• Support daily operational issues in Final Assembly, including testers, assembly lines, and machines.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on fixtures and calibration checks on torque drivers.
• You will Help implement improvements in Final Assembly manufacturing processes.
• Support automation modifications and process enhancements.
• Help with equipment setup, safety buyoff, and operational readiness.
• Help create work instructions and process documentation.
• Provide support for corrective and preventive maintenance activities, including root cause analysis.
• Participate in ECN meetings and updates on FA processes, label processes, and layout drawings.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Advanced Diploma/Diploma /ITE in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficient in equipment installation and machine troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of C++, C#.NET and PLC programming will be an added advantage.
• Candidates without work experience are welcome to apply.
• Able to support night shift went needed.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• You will Help with label modifications related to FTPC/Table 2/SAP systems.
• Support labels buy-off processes to ensure compliance with product and carton label requirements.
• Help raise and track SharePoint requests related to label and laser artwork issues.
• Collaborate with the Global Label Team.
