UMS SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Production Manager to oversee production planning and execution, ensuring safety, efficiency and on-time delivery while meeting quality standards.

You will lead cross-functional teams and drive lean manufacturing, with a focus on capacity, inventory and KPI performance. The role demands strong leadership, hands-on problem solving and experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred).

Competenze

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or Operations Management.
• Experience in manufacturing, production or semiconductor equipment manufacturing.
• Strong production planning and execution experience.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Epicor.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and multinational teams.

Mansioni

• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily production activities to meet delivery schedules.
• Manage production work orders, scheduling and workflow across departments.
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and cost targets.
• Monitor capacity, manpower, equipment, materials and resources.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with QA, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics to resolve issues.
• Monitor performance, productivity, lead time and other KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensure accurate production and inventory data in Epicor ERP.
• Manage costs, inventory levels and resource utilisation.
• Provide updates to management on status and risks.
• Lead, coach and develop production staff.
• Handle escalations related to production, delivery and quality.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, safety and quality standards.
