Job summary

McCann Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic student or recent graduate in video production to help ideate, storyboard, film and edit end-to-end content for our products. You will work under the Head of Production and collaborate with the wider team to craft fun, engaging videos.

The role covers lo-fi to lo-mid-fi shoots, equipment checks, on-set operation, basic editing and support for remote recordings and virtual workflows. A strong storytelling mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications or related programme.
• Experience in video production for social media and other platforms is a plus.
• Experience with video editing software and post-production techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support lo-fi to lo-mid-fi shoots and social content.
• Prepare shoots with equipment checks, batteries, cards and basic production docs.
• Operate video cameras, lighting and audio during shoots.
• Provide on-set support and second camera/BTS where suitable.
• Wrangle footage, organise files and manage backups.
• Assist with basic editing for social videos and internal cuts using industry-standard software.
• Support remote recordings and virtual production workflows (Teams to OBS).
• Provide general production admin and coordination support.

Job description

Focus : The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in end to end video production - including ideation, storyboarding, filming, & post-production editing. Reporting to our Head of Production, you will collaborate closely with the wider team, to create fun and engaging video content for our products.

Responsibilities :

• To support the team across lo-fi to lo-mid-fi shoots, social content, remote recordings and general production coordination.
• Shoot preparation, including equipment checks, batteries, cards, props and basic production documents
• Operate video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots.
• On-set support for lo-fi and lo-mid-fi shoots
• Second camera / BTS / social content capture where suitable
• Footage wrangling, file organisation and backup management
• Basic editing support for social videos and internal cuts using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro).
• Support for remote recordings and virtual production workflows, including Teams to OBS setups
• General production admin and coordination support across active job

Requirements

• Currently studying / recently graduated from Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related programme.
• Prior experience in video production for social media and other platforms is a plus
• Experience in video editing software and post-production techniques.
• Experience with cameras, lighting setups, and audio recording equipment.
• Strong storytelling and creative skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
