The Production Engineering Technician collaborates with the Production Engineer to optimize processes, transfer production, and implement cost-saving improvements while maintaining strong communication with manufacturing, quality, and management teams.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
• Familiar with Lean, Kaizen, Kanban and advanced manufacturing tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and GMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support production engineering projects and process improvements.
• Collect and analyze data from manufacturing operations.
• Assist in root cause analysis and failure investigations.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting and data-driven support.
• Training production personnel on procedures and SOPs.
• Promote 5S and Lean initiatives for cost efficiency.
