Job summary

AlwaysHired Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Production Operator to monitor and manage daily production processes in a chemicals environment at Tuas, with transport pickups available from Clementi, Jurong East, Choa Chu Kang, Boon Lay, and Jurong Point.

You will participate in equipment setup, maintenance, data collection, and safety compliance, performing routine inspections and supporting continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
• Minimum 1 year relevant work experience.
• Experience in the adhesive, paint, or chemical industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily production processes to meet quality and output targets, promptly addressing process deviations to minimize downtime.
• Actively participate in production operations, including equipment setup, operation, and maintenance, and take over production responsibilities during operator absences to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Perform routine inspections, calibration, and adjustments on machinery and equipment while documenting production activities, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, prepare daily and weekly performance reports, and ensure accurate recording of production metrics.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, identifying recurring issues and recommending long-term solutions.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations, ensuring safe equipment operation and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
• Communicate effectively with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams, supporting training programs for operators to enhance their skills.
• Propose innovative ideas for continuous improvement, focusing on cost savings and productivity enhancements.
