Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Singapore is seeking a Production Scheduler to manage repair schedules for aerospace jobs and coordinate between departments to ensure timely completion. You will load route cards, track progress, and ensure costs align with quotes and customer expectations.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering with 4+ years in aerospace MRO production scheduling and have SAP and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering or relevant fields.
• Minimum 4 years of production scheduling in aerospace MRO.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall repair schedule for jobs.
• Coordinate between departments for smooth repair procedures.
• Check and follow up on purchase and sub-con parts.
• Load, print and release route cards to Shop.
• Track job schedule to meet customer expectations.
• Close jobs in ERP with accurate material and labour costing.
• Analyze job costs and report discrepancies.
• Manage inventory control and turnaround times.
• Expedite repair completion to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects.

What You Will Do

• To develop overall repair schedule for jobs
• To coordinate between various departments to ensure smooth flow of repair procedures and internal process.
• To check and follow up on purchase and sub-con parts
• To load, print and release route card to Shop
• To track job schedule and ensure Shop finishes the repair work scope within customer expectation
• To close the job in ERP system and ensure all material and labour costing are accounted.
• Analyze job cost and feedback to team on any discrepancy on material, labor cost and gross profit margin.
• To be responsible for inventory management and control.
• Understand the repair process and capable of expediting the completion of job to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as required.
• Manage and track turnaround time (TAT) and Day in house (DIH).

Qualifications We Prefer

• Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical Engineering or relevant fields
• Minimum 4 years of production scheduling in an aerospace MRO environment.
