Job summary

Applied Micro Tech Pte Ltd is hiring for a hands-on production maintenance role within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will oversee daily production operations, ensure quality and safety compliance, and drive process improvements while optimizing manpower allocation.

Ideal candidates will have a diploma in engineering disciplines, basic ISO quality knowledge, and familiarity with equipment troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from a recognised Polytechnic.
• Basic knowledge of ISO quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and manufacturing quality practices.
• Wafer fabrication or semiconductor manufacturing experience is advantageous (but not required).
• Basic knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, electrical systems, or automation.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, or equipment manuals is an advantage.
• Positive attitude and a team-player.

Responsibilities

• Daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, discipline and safety requirements are met.
• Proactively suggest and implement process improvement and equipment enhancement initiatives.
• Optimise process flow and manpower allocation of manufacturing operations.
• Participate and be proactive in root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment or process issues.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO standards.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and escalate abnormalities for timely resolution.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and production tools.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and technical documentation.

Production:
