Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Security Engineer in Product Security to join the Global Security Organization in Singapore. You will manage product security incidents, drive internal initiatives, gather intelligence, investigate and validate reported vulnerabilities, and work to reduce risk as TikTok scales.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess threats, automate security workflows, and strengthen the vulnerability lifecycle across the platform while maintaining trust with users

Responsibilities

• Strategic problem solving and automation to enhance security processes.
• Vulnerability impact analysis of CVEs and associated public exploit code.
• Own the vulnerability lifecycle: identify, analyze, document, and coordinate remediation of security weaknesses.
• Incident response & mitigation: manage cybersecurity incidents, pinpoint affected systems, outline risks.
• External collaboration & communication: engage with external security experts and communicate complex info.
• Program effectiveness & disclosure: use data to measure security program effectiveness and coord. vulnerability disclosure.
• Vulnerability scanning operations: operate and manage scanning platforms and prioritize issues.
