Sodion Energy Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an engineer who can blend hands-on development with project delivery. Reporting to the CTO, you’ll own day‑to‑day engineering for a product line and act as the technical contact for a major customer account under guidance from the founding team.

Responsibilities include maintaining specs and docs, coordinating with suppliers, running battery tests, and leading project milestones.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related engineering.
• Confident spoken Mandarin for China supplier discussions; good English for reports and customer communication.
• Basic battery/electrical fundamentals and aptitude for hands-on testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to organize tasks, coordinate stakeholders and deliver projects while doing hands-on engineering.
• Comfortable using AI tools as part of everyday technical work.

• Conduct battery tests, analyse results, troubleshoot problems and write clear engineering reports.
• Lead day-to-day project delivery for a major customer account: requirements, milestones, risks, stakeholders and customer updates.
• Support certification, customer trials, deployments and field-failure investigations.
• Travel to China for supplier/factory reviews and within Southeast Asia for customer visits and project support, as needed.
• Use AI tools for research, documentation and data analysis; verify outputs before use.

About the role

Combine practical engineering with project delivery. Reporting to the CTO, each engineer will own day-to-day engineering for an assigned product line and act as technical and project contact for at least one major customer account— with guidance from the CTO and founding team.

Requirements

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to customer-site and defence-related project access requirements.

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related engineering. Fresh graduates welcome.

• Confident spoken Mandarin for China supplier discussions; good English for reports and customer communication.

• Basic battery/electrical fundamentals and aptitude for hands‑on testing and troubleshooting.
