Job summary

Open Government Products seeks a Product Policy officer to own end-to-end policy problems, engaging directly with citizens and working with product teams to improve features and governance. You will interact with senior public servants and executives while staying close to execution and delivery, combining policy insight with technical literacy.

You’ll lead a team of policy officers, transform policies into practical product outcomes, and drive cross-ministry governance.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of policy work in the Singapore public service, including leading teams.
• Built or grown a team or function you had a hand in shaping, not inherited.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the policy officers team, embedding them where needed.
• Grow officers' technical fluency to leave with real skills, not just relationships.
• Set product policy strategy and governance standards for cross-ministry engagement.
• Represent OGP to senior government leaders and ministries, articulating how technology improves citizens' lives.
• Lead hard calls on which problems policy tackles and ensure execution alongside officers.
• Stay hands-on with live problems, collaborating with product teams and agencies.
