Job summary

CREEK COMPUTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to drive the end-to-end deployment and operation of SaaS platforms. You will collaborate with product managers to translate requirements into scalable cloud solutions.

The role emphasizes Python, SQL, Linux, Azure networking, Docker/Kubernetes, Spark and Kafka, with a focus on security, reliability, and cost efficiency through automation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full Product development including requirements gathering design development testing and deployment.
• Work with product managers to define product features and functional requirements by interpreting local regulations
• Investigates facts and reviews problems during the design and planning phases, displaying an understanding of products and their functionality
• Implement best practices for software development and ensure adherence to company standards.
• Coding skills on Python, SQL & Linux together with expertise in public Cloud based platform deployment for SaaS Products.
• Streamline and maintain infrastructure for product and platform deployment
• Continuously improve security, reliability, and cost-efficiency across the platform through automation and best practices.
• Manage YAML configurations for various deployment processes.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure networking, including VNet, Subnet, ExpressRoute, and VPN configurations.
• High understanding of cloud infrastructure designs, patterns, and best practices
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management.
• DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
• Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Apache Spark and big data processing
• Real-time data integration using Apache Kafka
