Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Digital Product Owner to own the product backlog and translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

You will work with business, technology, UX/UI and QA teams through the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, defining features and customer journeys, and driving agile ceremonies to ensure timely, quality releases.

Job Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with business objectives, customer needs and overall digital strategy.
• Translate business requirements and customer pain points into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and actionable requirements for delivery teams.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, UX/UI designers, QA and other partners throughout the end-to-end product delivery lifecycle.
• Define product features, customer journeys and functional requirements, ensuring clarity before development begins.
• Prioritise features and enhancements based on customer impact, business value, regulatory requirements, dependencies and delivery effort.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily discussions, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Provide timely clarification and decision-making to delivery teams during development.
• Partner business teams to define acceptance criteria, test scenarios and ensure solutions meet agreed requirements and quality standards. Supervise a team of test engineers to lead the test strategy that covers UAT test plans, ensures that test cases are executed end-to-end within the stipulated UAT schedule.
• Review delivered functionality and provide product acceptance before release.
• Coordinate dependencies, risks and issues across business and technology stakeholders and elevate where required.
• Support production implementation, post-launch validation and monitoring of product performance.
• Maintain product documentation, requirements, decisions and product roadmap visibility.
• Champion customer-centric thinking and ensure digital experiences are simple, intuitive and aligned with expected customer outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Business, Information Technology, Digital, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in a Digital Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Management or digital delivery role.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and managing product backlogs.
• Ability to translate business needs into structured user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar product management platforms.
• Comfortable working closely with technology teams and discussing APIs, system integrations, data flows and technical dependencies at a functional level.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues and drive practical solutions.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across business, technology and senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in banking, financial services or other regulated industries is advantageous
