Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced QA and automation leader to own the Tosca automation roadmap and adoption.

You will guide test design, identify automation opportunities, coach the team, and report on progress, risks, and benefits to management.

Essential: 10+ years in testing/QA, Tosca expertise, leadership of automation efforts, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, QA, test automation, or product/platform management for enterprise systems.
• Experience leading an automation strategy across multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on Tosca experience including test case design and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Tosca product roadmap, adoption priorities, and implementation approach.
• Identify suitable systems, test scenarios, and regression areas for Tosca automation with stakeholders.
• Plan and manage the transition from manual testing to automation, with Tosca as the primary tool.
• Manage and coach the team on Tosca adoption, automation implementation, and capability uplift.
• Track and report Tosca adoption, licence utilisation, automation coverage, benefits, risks, and outcomes.
• Establish Tosca usage standards, including reusable assets, naming conventions, evidence capture, and governance checkpoints.
• Review test artefacts, automation assets, and evidence to ensure reusability, maintainability, and alignment with objectives.
• Manage Tosca usage within secure environments, including setup, access, and security compliance requirements.
• Guide structured test design practices to improve automation readiness, including reusable test cases, test data requirements, and traceable expected results.
• Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and system owners to drive controlled and sustainable Tosca adoption.
• Provide regular progress, outcome, risk, and recommendation updates to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

Essential:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, QA, test automation, or product/platform management for enterprise systems.
• At least 3 years leading an automation strategy/roadmap, automation platform, testing service, or equivalent capability across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managing, coaching, or directing SQEs, testers, or quality engineers .
• Hands‑on Tosca experience is essential , including reusable test case design, automation asset maintenance, and execution support.
• Strong understanding of test management methodologies, Agile delivery, and automation readiness.
• Ability to prioritise automation demand and translate testing challenges into a practical Tosca adoption roadmap.
• Ability to define adoption metrics and communicate progress, benefits, risks, and issues to management.
• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira .

Desirable:

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
• ISTQB, CSTE , or equivalent testing certification.
• Tricentis Tosca Architect or equivalent advanced Tosca certification.
• Experience with Tosca setup in government cloud/secure environments such as Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) and CI/CD integration.
• API test automation experience and knowledge of Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, or Postman .
• Experience tracking automation delivery, coverage, execution results, risks, benefits, user feedback, and licence utilisation.
• Government/public sector IT project experience.
• Knowledge of performance, security, and non-functional testing .
