Job summary

ENGGSOL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Product Manager to grow the Satellite Communications product business.

You will lead the product strategy, roadmap, business case, and go-to-market plans for the assigned portfolio, and ensure lifecycle performance against yearly targets. The role requires deep technical depth in satellite terminal development, strong business acumen, and excellent cross‑functional leadership as you partner with engineering, sales, and external partners to convert market

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or related technical field.
• 7+ years in Satellite Communications, telecommunications, defence, aerospace, or technology product business.
• Proven experience in product management, product business, technology commercialisation, or related role involving technology-based products.
• Strong business acumen, with ability to translate market needs, customer requirements, competitive dynamics and technology trends into product strategies, business cases and financial outcomes.
• Experience managing or contributing to commercial targets, including orders, revenue, gross margin, pipeline conversion, pricing, or product profitability.
• Experience bringing technology products from concept through development, launch, market adoption and lifecycle management.

The Product Manager is responsible for growing the Satellite Communications product business. Will lead the product strategy, roadmap, business case, go-to-market plan and lifecycle performance for the assigned product portfolio. The role is accountable for meeting yearly financial targets, including orders, revenue and gross margin. The candidate must combine strong business acumen with relevant product business technology experience and technical depth in satellite communications terminal development. Will work closely with engineering, business development, sales, operations and external partners to turn market opportunities into successful products and sustainable business growth.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in Satellite Communications, telecommunications, defence, aerospace, or technology product business.
• Proven experience in product management, product business, technology commercialisation, or a related role involving technology-based products.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate market needs, customer requirements, competitive dynamics and technology trends into product strategies, business cases and financial outcomes.
• Experience managing or contributing to commercial targets, including orders, revenue, gross margin, pipeline conversion, pricing, or product profitability.
• Experience bringing technology products from concept through development, launch, market adoption and lifecycle management.
• Technical depth in satellite communications terminal development, including terminal architecture, system requirements, integration, qualification, manufacturability and customer deployment needs.
• Working knowledge of relevant Satcom terminal technologies, such as RF, antenna, modem/baseband, waveform, network integration, ruggedisation, testing or field deployment.
• Ability to work effectively across engineering, sales, business development, operations, partners and customers to convert market opportunities into product and business outcomes
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Able to travel on short notice for business needs.
